Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Third Party Applications and Your Use
Jobstacker provides users with the ability to link to their Data on third party sites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Such linking is at the complete discretion of users. Because of this, Jobstacker cannot be held responsible or liable for the linking of a user's Data to such third party sites, nor for how these third party sites use such links.
Marketing and Publicity
You agree to permit Jobstacker to identify you as a customer and to use your name and/or logo in Jobstacker's website and marketing materials.
Sale of Personal Information
Jobstacker does not sell, rent, or trade your private information to any third parties in any way.
Service Providers and Business Partners
Jobstacker may use certain trusted third party companies and individuals to help us provide, analyse, and improve the Services (including, but not limited to, data storage, maintenance services, database management, web analytics, payment processing, and improvement of the Services' features). These third parties may have access to your information strictly for the purposes of performing these tasks on our behalf and under obligations similar to those in this Privacy Policy.
Non-Private or Non-Personal Information
We may disclose your non-private, aggregated, or otherwise non-personal information, such as usage statistics of our Services, at our discretion.
OUR USE AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
Jobstacker will not disclose any personally identifiable information about any individual except as set out in this Privacy Policy. This applies to information about our customers and information our customers provide to us about their own customers. We are not limited in our use of non-personal or de-identified, aggregate information that does not permit direct association with any specific individual.
We use the information we collect about you in order to:
Develop and deliver our Services
Process your transactions
Provide customer service and manage your account
Improve our products, services and marketing
We provide access to personally identifiable information about our users only to those who require it for the above purposes. Jobstacker will not sell or rent any of your personally identifiable information to third parties, and will not share it with third parties except in the limited circumstances described below.
We share information with service providers under contract who help with our business operations, such as payment and order processing, fraud investigation, bill collection, and information management and analytics. If content generation is included in your services, we may share information with service providers under contract to create, edit and/or publish such content. These third parties are contractually obligated to protect your information and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose, and are never permitted to share it with any other third parties.
We disclose information that we, in good faith, believe is appropriate to cooperate in investigations of fraud or other illegal activity, to investigate breaches of our terms, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
We disclose information in response to a subpoena, warrant, court order, or other comparable legal process. If a request seeks information about an identified subscriber or limited group of subscribers, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the subscriber(s) before providing the information, where we are able to do so.
When a user signs up for a co-branded version of our service through a link from a co-branded partner's website, Jobstacker will share the user's name, email address and physical address with that partner in order to provide enhanced integration between the services. If you do not want your information shared in this way, sign up for Jobstacker directly rather than via a partner link.
We disclose information to your agent or legal representative (such as the holder of a power of attorney, or an appointed guardian), and to companies that provide public relations and marketing services on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
As with any business, Jobstacker could merge with or be acquired by another company in the future. If this occurs, the successor company would have access to the information we hold, but would remain bound by this Privacy Policy until it is amended. We also share information with our parent, subsidiaries and joint ventures to help coordinate the services we provide, enforce our terms, and promote trust and safety.
OVERSEAS DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Some of the platforms and infrastructure providers that support our Services are based in, or store data in, the United States, and your information may pass through other countries in transit. This means your personal information may be disclosed to overseas recipients.
Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure those overseas recipients handle your personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, including through contractual protections with our service providers. By using the Services, you consent to this disclosure. If you have concerns about the overseas storage or handling of your information, please contact us using the details at the end of this Policy.
NOTIFIABLE DATA BREACHES
Jobstacker has processes in place to identify, assess and respond to data breaches in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If we experience a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to individuals whose personal information is involved, we will notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) and affected individuals as required by law, and will take reasonable steps to contain and remediate the breach.
DATA RETENTION AND ACCOUNT DELETION
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide the Services, you may delete your account. If you delete your account, your Data will no longer be stored on our servers, though there may be a short delay before deletion is complete, and some Data may persist for a period in backup copies.
The implementation of our Services may, by its nature, require using your personally identifiable information to locate other information about you, including by searching publicly accessible internet sites or private databases, or to effect the removal of internet content about you (for example, disclosing your name to a website to request removal of content). This occurs only for a specific, given purpose and, where required, with your express permission.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by email to the primary address on your account and/or post the updated Policy on our website prior to the changes taking effect. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date, deliverable email address for you, and for periodically reviewing this Policy.
We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time. No amendment will be binding unless it is posted to the Site or otherwise issued by a duly authorised representative of Jobstacker.
Business Transfers
If Jobstacker goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personally identifiable information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. We will provide notice on our site for 30 days following any change of ownership or control of your information. If your information will be used in a materially different way as a result, you will be given a choice consistent with the section above.
YOUR RIGHTS – EU, UK AND OTHER INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTS (GDPR)
If you reside in the European Union (“EU”), United Kingdom, Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland or Switzerland, you may have additional rights with respect to your personal data, including rights under the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). “Personal Data” is any data that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as name, location data, and unique online identifiers.
In addition to the principles set out elsewhere in this Policy, Jobstacker has adopted the following principles to govern its collection and processing of Personal Data:
Personal Data shall be processed lawfully, fairly, and in a transparent manner.
The Personal Data collected will only be that specifically required to fulfil Jobstacker's obligations to deliver the Services.
Personal Data shall only be retained for as long as required to fulfil contractual requirements.
Personal Data shall be adequate, relevant, limited to what is necessary, and kept accurate and up to date.
Data subjects have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of their Personal Data, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. Requests must be put in writing to Jobstacker using the contact details below.
Where Jobstacker sends you commercial electronic messages (such as marketing emails or text messages), we do so in accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). This means we will only send such messages with your consent, will clearly identify Jobstacker as the sender, and will include a functional unsubscribe facility in every message. You may withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time using the link or instructions provided in the relevant message, or by contacting us directly.
Where our Services are used by a client business to send messages to that business's own customers or leads, responsibility for complying with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) in relation to those messages rests with that client business as the sender.
COMMUNITY
Our Services may include publicly accessible community features such as blogs, forums, and wikis. Please be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. Your posts in these areas may remain even after you cancel your account.
